If you’re itching for creative ways to save money, take on neat DIY projects, get your home organized, or just connect with your peers, here are four lifestyle blogs — run by AGhosted clients — worth a visit. The people behind these successful, blogs-as-businesses are some of our favorite people to work with. In fact, some inspired the creation of our AGhosted WordPress hosting plans.

The first blog we’d like to introduce is Ruth Soukup’s Living Well Spending Less. In 2010, Ruth started this blog as a way to keep herself accountable with living on a budget. Her site set the groundwork for her to develop and share with readers her “living well” philosophy, homemaking hacks, money-wise tools, and family meal plans. One million monthly readers make up the Living Well Spending Less community, and Ruth continues to share her advice on organizing your life (including your closet!), saving money, and setting and reaching your goals. She has authored five books, including the Best Seller “How to Blog for Profit (Without Selling Your Soul)”, and she runs a training website for new bloggers, Elite Blog Academy. With her new book and the blog academy, Ruth has transformed herself into both an inspiration and wealth of information for new and aspiring bloggers! with MandiLife Your Way

Next up, let’s get to know to Mandi Ehman’s Life Your Way. This lifestyle blog was born out of Mandi’s desire to share her experiences and inspire readers “to live life intentionally and creatively.” Mandi is a full-time, work-at-home mom sharing her adventures in homeschooling, reflections on parenthood and marriage, useful tips for managing a home, inspiration for decluttering, and more. As a longtime blogger, Mandi has put together blogger resources, a couple of online courses, e-books, and several printable organizing and planning resources. The wealth of information Mandi has collected, written, and made available means nearly anyone in any stage of life can live more intentionally and creatively through her ideas!

The Art of Simpletheartofsimple-tsh

Another good “simple living” blog to follow is Tsh Oxenreider’s The Art of Simple. This website got its start after Tsh and her family moved to Turkey and began simplifying the way in which they lived. She started the “online space” in 2008 to share their discoveries about living simply, and today, the site has grown to have a dozen contributing writers and a vibrant community. Topics include parenting, organizing your home, finances, traveling on a budget (which you can also read about in Tsh’s family’s travel site, The Art of Simple Travel), and more. One particularly distinct feature Tsh offers is a small group, personalized online mentoring program to help subscribers “declutter and reshape three problem areas in your home”. and

The last blog we’re highlighting today is Andrea Dekker’s self-titled blog, In 2007, Andrea founded an organizing business, and in 2010, she started the blog to share ideas for simplifying and organizing your home and life. She writes about home organization through design, DIY, decorating, simple food prep, storage, going green, and more. She provides resources to motivate, encourage and inspire readers to make what she believes are positive changes in their home, family, and life.

Andrea also works as a virtual assistant for a few bloggers and shares her expertise about running and managing successful blogs. For a more hands-on approach, Andrea offers personal coaching sessions for those interested in starting or growing a business, blog, or website.
